The cold and miserable stretch from Christmas to spring is with us, what better way to cheer you up than by bringing a little Moroccan sunshine into your life, a single item can transform a room and add a little of the Arabian Nights to your home.

Having just come back from the interiors show, one of the main themes to come through this season is Opulence. Velvets and silks are back, in rich reds and vibrant purples with lots of gold. Moroccan interiors are a natural for this with the rich and vibrant colours found in the ceramics, to the dazzling display of light and colour found in a lantern when illuminated. We have pulled together from across our range some idea to reflect the more opulent area within our collection, please click here to see this seasons ideas.

We have over the last few months extended the sites content to introduce some practical items such as how to wire a lantern, painting techniques to enable you to give your room that warm Moroccan glow, as well as increasing our book reviews. Most of the books are an excellent source of inspiration, and if you can't get to Morocco they make sumptuous armchair reading. All of these can be found under ideas here.

We have also extended our lantern selection to cover small tabletop lanterns as well as larger hanging lanterns. We have increased our furniture selection to include more mirrors and increased our ceramics selection. Most of the ceramics can now be purchased in each of the main colours yellow, blue and green, please email us if you would like further details.
