Boucherouite rugs are hot commodities in the interior design sphere at the moment, but in Moroccan culture they're so much richer. Traditionally handmade using scraps of leftover fabric, twisted into unique patterns, these are rugs most commonly made by women in Moroccan communities, keen to recycle and reuse old clothes to create something warm, beautiful or functional for their homes and families.
At CoCo Morocco, property agent and architect Marlène is working with her team to celebrate the heart of Boucherouite and make a little money for some great charity projects in Morocco. Find out more here.
